Change in the Management Team

Dr Peter Luthardt, co-founder, shareholder and managing director of mas gmbh, will be retiring on 1 August 2026.

Stefanie Görkes will then take over his position on the management board. A graduate in food chemistry, she gained her first experience with our company 15 years ago as a student assistant. And vice versa – we gained experience with her too ;-)

After a brief interruption, we reunited in 2012, this time as part of a temporary role which – following the completion of her degree in 2013 – led to a permanent position.

What followed was her working her way through all departments and roles at mas gmbh, from laboratory work to the diverse tasks involved in project management.

Having taken over the management of the project division in 2023 and the responsibility for monitoring stations in accordance with Section 29b of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) (emissions and immissions) in 2025, her appointment as managing director is the almost inevitable next step in her career at mas.

Stefanie Görkes will in future take on the role of managing director alongside my co-founder and managing director, Franz Jöne. Both will be able to rely – as before – on the proven expertise of our mas team.

I am personally delighted about this and wish them both every success in leading our company.
