Application Training on Mineral Oil Hydrocarbon Analysis (MOSH/MOAH) in Vegetable Oils and Fatty Foods Using HPLC/GC-FID Coupling
Participants in this practice-oriented program will gain in-depth knowledge of the analysis of matrix-loaded, fatty samples.
Special attention will be given to the interplay between optimal system performance (LC/GC coupling) and the necessary sample preparation steps, such as the removal of plant alkanes for the MOSH fraction and the reduction of interfering sample components (e.g., triterpenes) for the MOAH fraction.
The samples will be processed in small groups and analysed.
